Ashtead to Maerdy for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust

In aid of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust I will be cycling approx. 200 miles to mark what would have been mine and Karen’s 33rd wedding anniversary.

My wife Karen died from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis on 22nd December 2015. She was 61. We were together for 36 years, and in that time we welcomed three daughters and a grandson into the world. Karen fought her debilitating and life-limiting illness for the last 2 years of her life and sadly she passed away just as we were about to embark on our retirement together. My family and I feel a huge and indescribable loss for such an amazing wife, mother and grandmother.

It is not known what caused Karen’s Pulmonary Fibrosis, and many others are in the same situation. There is no known cure. Please help by donating what you can.
